Maybe tommorrow....If hes happy with his OCD, then so am I!!!!

Not suprised,at the end of the day prep work is one of the key areas to doing a good job!

Going down to see her today without the kit and doors on, before he gives them the final line up and last fix!!! Little bit nervous to be honest but ill see if my magnifying glass or pocket microscope manages to find any imperfections!!! Its in the oven till 4pm so ill update tommorow!!!

Ok lads. Ive been to the painters today and taken 30 or so pictures. Ive got to go back on saturday to see it with the doors on and boot. It is getting mopped tommorrow evening.

I will say now.....The finish of the job without even being mopped, is absolutley stunning, im over the moon with it. Its as tho the paint has been poured over it, with not a single ripple. dent or imperfection in it, it is truely like glass. The painter had masked off even the underside aswell.

The reflection is stunning, the boot is bang on and the bonnet flat as a pancake, the doors are faultless, and i cannot even find anything wrong with it. The painter, fabricator, prepper and mopper, all came over to see what i thought of it aswell, which was good. I was there over an hour looking around it. The painter even had a colleague take pictures of him painting it in the booth.

The owner took me around a BMW 750 that was being mopped and showed me a panel which was awesome and very well finished. He said that my car was only average and to wait till its mopped like the BMW!!!!!!!!

How come they are mopping it so soon Ed not that I know anything about spraying and that but I thought you wait a few days or so first. Please correct me and tell me how. I still haven't mopped mine since being sprayed I thought the longer you wait the better but I'm just lazy and can't find time yet

It was in the oven in the end most of the day then hes gna see tommorow evening if its ready for mopping. That will be over 24 hours after coming out of the ovenmate, but if not he might leave it till monday morning just to be sure. The paint is already hard but not ready as we speak so perhaps it might take longer before mopping, but im sure hell be confident its fine before he takes it on, ill ask again on saturday and see what he says or if its already done!!

Shes meant to be coming home on monday evening!!!!!

Then im gna take my time front to back building it up. Just got to get a new oil pump for engine then i can get that back, paint it up then fit it!!!!
