Just looking at the pics again eddie, are you keeping the cut/rolled front wings or replacing them with unmodified items?

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Restoration...Another Update!!!
Not sure mate. I know im gna be going back to Comps and AVOs at some point because, lets face it the three spokes are the worst wheel ever!!!
Ive got a few front wing lips around 5" tall, cut out of other fiestas so they can be welded and skimmed behind the kit if it ever bothered me, but i might get them put on anyway and hope that when it comes to comp time they dont scrub!!!

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Restoration...She Rolls!!!!
I hope your painters are familiar with the control of overspray....Id be pissed finding Merc-G all over those nice clean already fitted bits if that were mine....
So my advice is remove all the gear fitted already, then get it painted
Top work as always, need to see this built up, she gonna be a stunner

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Restoration...She Rolls!!!!
Bit of a problem removing the fitted stuff mate.......It would have to be dragged out on its belly ruining the underside!!
Nah, im going to get some plastic curtaings running the length of the car, from the sills, to the floor and up in the arches and around the front etc, so spray doesnt get up and under the new bits!!! If the painter has a problem with it, then he WONT be painting it!!!

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Restoration...She Rolls!!!!
Brilliant to see it out eddie, bet your well pleased wit how its progressing now
Good work
And regarding the wings, as you say, a lip can always be welded on at some point, and if its going to be trailered about from now on, scrubbing comps shouldnt really be a problem on hard cornering...

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Restoration...Callipers done.
Right small update...NEARLY A YEAR TO THE DAY I STARTED THIS!!!!!
The painter has been sent pics of the job to do so thats that sorted. The gearbox has been split ready for new gaskets all rouns and a good ol paint up ready to meet the engine again ( many thanks Excursion(mark) for your help, top geeza!!!)
As PRP (chris) was snowed under with work (fair enough the man did try his best)-on other cars i manged to get my stickers back that i sent him for re-doing...so i decided to master the pc on my days of and try to reproduce 80% of the stickers that i wanted done.
Ive put them onto nice thick polaroid paper which is ultra sticky and gives a nice lustre to the face of the stickers, so they can then applied straight to the relevant areas. Some of the other ones that are already in production will be purchased very soon so i should have the full set that i hoped id get.
The pic that ive taken is with a grid over them as its taken me ALOT of messing around to get them perfect so i dont want anyone just cut and pasting them for obvious reasons!!! I might even sell a few sets if people are in desperate need for them...(But no opponents in the concourse ring!!! )
The ones above that i have replicated from my own ones are:
Shock stickers
All wiring loom stickers inc United Technologies
Cam belt cover "change due date" sticker
Headlamp stickers ( orange ford stickers not lucas nor valeo, but were fitted to some cars when the lamps came from spain)
Servo stickers x 2 ( top rear and bottom front)
Live battery wiring sticker
TPS sticker
Injector rail sticker.
Hope yas like!!!
