not a tom fan tbh, even my daughter hates him now, and this is a true story, dispite the pi$$ take below.
just last year when he played the isle of wight festival, the chopper that collected him landed in the field pretty much next to where i used to live, and my daughter was round there waiting for him with some mates, and the security guys turned the lights on on the cars to blind them, while he got out and got in the chopper without so much as a wave, stuck up c**t

although it was hit or miss, my daughter was just out of reach, he could of said, hold on im coming, but no, he couldnt say goodbye, he wasnt interested in my daughters question, it was the end of the road.
so tom, you can leave your hat on, as im sure he was thinking, im coming home, im not feeling it anymore, he wanted to get back to his darlin delilah, so he could say lady lay down and kiss kiss

very slight update to this.

at fordfair i collected a couple of parts for the RS 1 will be fitted, 1 wont...yet, maybe

i picked up a mk5 fiesta sunroof for a fiver from happy paul, nice one mate.
noticed when i got it home there was a scratch in the glass, no big deal, but a friend of mine is a ex glazer, and told me to bring it round, so he had a pop at getting the scratch out, 60% of it is gone, the rest is still there as he ran out of the glass polish stuff he had, so when i get more, hes gunna go at it again.

some of you prob noticed mt door glass and rear opeing glass have scratches also, that was my fault, but i wont get into that, hes gunna have a bash at polishing them up when i get some of this stuff, or i might just buy 2 new door glass and 2 new rear opening glass, as he can get all for for a very decent price through his contacts, and yes, they will be correctly tinted too but i'll think about it, but it deffo is a bargain, and would be cheaper than 1 opeing rear from fords


anyhow, next thing i collected from fordfair was a UK spec RS accessory drivers side rear light its a bit scratched, and has a crack, but the crack is on the top which cant be seen when the boot is shut, and the scratches can be sorted.

so with the euro spec set of RS lights, as well as the passanger side UK spec one i already have, i know have a complete UK spec as well as a complete euro spec, so i can pick and choose if i want to keep 2 revser lights, have 2 fog lights, or std uk set up in RS accessory, so nice one for selling me that light julian


pics to follow, as both parts are in the RS which is tucked away in the grage for the mo, if weather is nice tomorrow (and i can be arsed ) i'll get the RS out to clean and wax it again before putting her away for the winter, so will get some pic's then


one more thing, ive grown a little bored of the RS in a way, and feel i need something different, no as in sell up and buy another car, i mean, i need to change something on the car, wheels will be changed at some point anyway, but im thinking it needs something a bit more, but dunno what yet, but the cossie bumper will be staying before anyone (clark ) says about going back to std
im open to anyones ideas if they wish to share, but they gotta be sensible, nothing ch@vy, and no engine mods, im happy with the way she drives now, im thinking something cosmetic...

Is He using pummice grit to polish the glass jay? done it a few times when in the trade...gotta be bloody carefull though...see a porsche screen get done and it fcked it propper

Tbh i do agree with the wheel idea mate...gotta keep her fresh or you be bored.
put winter tyres on the others so to keep em of use and buy something new, update the look for a new direction..
maybe ambers all round(contraversial op's i know) an all..look lush against the red.

i Got some MK1 Voodoo's in 17inch that'd look the spuds against the red, praps Knuckle's could collect for you on his next trip over

Tell you what Escos rims would look the bollox imop on her...they work so well with red imop

Michael!, already got soil opvers on there have have had them for years, i wont go any lower though, shes just right for me, and even if i wanted to go lower (which i dont) ill never get over the speed hump round here

splits, hmmm, funny that, i say a van today which had some wheels, dont think they were splits as i was too far away, but it had orange multi spoke type centres and chrome/piloshed outer rims, and i thought to my self, that dont look too bad...., the van was proper sign written up so thats what made it, but it did put the thought of a 2 tone colour wheel in my head

heres the sun roof and rear light i got at fordfair, im sure we all know what these look like anyways, but still heres some pics




as you can see theres that crack, its nothing major, and wont be seen when the boot is shut.
if ill ever use it or not i dont know, but just having the choice is good enough







also, as i now have no use for the car until next year (or cant see it anyway), and the day was good, after i cut the grass i went and got the RS, bought her home and washed and leather her off, door shuts and all, didnt wax her her again as it didnt need it, but i might do it another day again when im bored , but took the roof strips off and clean the dirt out and dried it out before refitting them, dont want water laying in there now
as i wanted to clean out and dry the sunroof opeing, i tried the mk5 sunroof in there too and it looks good, why i didnt do this sooner i dont know, ive seen others do it and its looked good, but once i fitted it, i couldnt believe just how much smoother the roof line looks with one compaired to the mk3, so deffo a good mod to do.
for now its in the shed, as im going to remove the seal around it, and reform it as its shurnk back a tad, so ill warm it up in some hot water and stretch it back on and glue the ends so it doesnt (hopefully) come apart again

after i put her to bed i decided to wash the focus seeing as the bucket of soapy water was basicly clean, so washed and leatherd it off, then went on to do the wife galaxy, sun muct of got to me i reckon

yeah i did mate, just removed them after i cleaned it so i could clean the gullys out and allow it to dry before putting it back in the garage mate.
they have been refitted now
