Just had another good luck through the thread mate, tis a good read.
Sorry to hear about losing your job, a i think some people would have chucked the towel in by now, what with having such a tight budget and kids to rovide for etc, but fair play to you for cracking on, respect!
As has been said above ^^^^^^ all will come good in the end!
Keep it coming fella!

yeah the woman in the shop told me as she sold the customer the card, and when the customer won the £1k she gave £50 to the woman in the shop that sold it her
tbh, even if its finished by FITP i done think it will be there due to money mate, as it would need tax, mot and insurance plus travel cost, so wouldnt hold ya breath on fitp, but im hoping to have it on a stand in ford fair

Keep going mate.
I think a lot of us on here have to fit our projects in and around all our other expendature, mortgages, bills, babies ( ) etc, so at times they end up pushed into a corner somewhere with the missus nagging you to "sell it"
I'm hearing your cry about the clips on the bottom of the car!! My 13 Year-old clips just self-destructed when I renewed all my brake lines and re-fitting the new ones done my head in, I was throwing my tools about, kicking things having a proper "Paddy"

- Your car: Yes
i think my problem was due to them relaxing in the months they were off the car, or flexed that little bit too much while painting them, so putting them back up they wasnt the right shape, im only talking a wee bit out but enough that when you pull it back that half inch to clip it in the other 1 or 2 go "ping" so you move back down to find the white clip broken
still got there in the end, and yeah, the kids come first and they have neededthings for school and what not so the car is last in line for having money spent on it.
the wife dont say anything about selling it no more, she used to say little bits when i first started but it soon stopped with the
"hows the galaxy that i spent £2.5k of my redundance money on doing??"
after a couple of time of that she learnt
still she never used to bang on about it, she bangs on about the spare FRST bonnet i got wrapped in plastic on the landing

tell me about it, i was s**t my self, i normal;y can hit 50 going round the corner but it looked a bit damp so i was doing 40 tyre pressures were obviously a bit low and the lean of the wheel round the corner made the side wall pinch and blow out back went out but manged to correct it and pull over, worst thing was my sister and her boyfriend were in the car, they werent best impressed
