frst toady ::rolleyes: not that you will probably like the idea but...
i reckon a ford badge back on the bonnet,
only a small change but it'll just break up the redness a tad def be better in white tho

Michael! :Swage line, ford badge, Amber's and splits - there you go jay ;)

a few people have said about the badge back on the bonnet, so i think i will do that, ill have a hunt around my crap for one, if i put one back on, i want the light blue one, and im sure i got a couple of good ones :)

ive deffo warmed to the idea of ambers in the bumper, so im gunna say 90% sure thats gunna happen.

splits, if i can find a set i really like, and i am deffo one fussy mother f**ker when it comes to wheels hence why ive not changed them in so long, then i will consider it, but its cost dependant on the wheel front.
as much as i love the car, i couldnt justify a small fortune on a set of rims for a car that hardly gets used, and splits aint cheap, but i'll see whats about when i got some money, but at the mo, and dare i say it  with christmas coming up, its time to start putting money aside for that, it aint cheap christmas time in my house with 4 kids

i got a plan for the rear bumper too, i dunno if it will work or how good it will look, so ill keep that to my self at the mo :bonkers:

i did even consider centre exit again as i have a bumper i made up donkies ago when i last had centre exit, even have the back box with stainless pipes i made too, but dont wanna cut the rear panel again, so its not anything like that.

Excursion :Looks mint Jay. My favourite colour by a mile :)

cheers mark :)

pauldolman :did u have a centre exit before then jay

many moons ago yes mate, like 12 years ago, stayed on there for a year or so, but the box me and my dad made up was only a temp thing to see if i liked it or not, and was knocked up from a old FRST back box, and a mk2 xr2 centre box.
we did then go on to make a people back box with twin stainless slashed pipes, but around that time, a friend of mine rolled his FRST into a field and i bought his stainless system off him and converted it from a T3 system back into a T2 system, and fitted it on for the MOT, as the quick centre exit job we done wouldnt of passed a MOT as it was pretty rough looking, and once the stainless was fitted, i never did go back to the centre exut, so the box we made, the good one, sits in the workshop even now, unused, so it was a bit of a waste of time really, but it might come in handy for the mk2 if i reckon its worth putting on, but then again, i have a stainless ready fro the xr2, so who knows

i bet ya gunna ask for pictures now aint ya, if ya are, i cant provide any, as i dont think me or anyone else, ever took any pictures of it :-? .
i do have some, somewhere...... of the bumper though, as i never binned it

liking the new sunroof - will have to get myself one of those too !

been saying ambers in the bumper for ages
didnt you say you was gonna wire up the indicators next to head lights with side light bulbs ... then have the bumper indicators as the front indicators ?

need a swage line back imo :D

i like the swaige line smoothed jay in contrast to what other people say, i think it goes well with the smooth lines of the cossie bumper

clark i cant believe you have never seen it :aaah:
i did have some pics, but just checked and they aint in my PB or on my pc :-? will have to get one for ya.

paul, i agree with you, the smooth line does work well imo, but sometimes i look at it and think, hmmm, would a line look better...

im in the position though, where i have a spare std FRST bonnet in red, and although the shade is prob off to what i have now, its good enough to swap them and see which i like, so i think ill give that a go at some point, if i dont like, ill put the smooth one back on, if i do, then i'll paint the std one up.

the other thing as well, is i smoothed the swrage lines from my boot lid years back as well, but have sinced swapped that boot lid for a std one with swage lines, so, maybe the seage in the front would look better?
who knows, ill have to swap the bonnets and go from there me thinks

Guess what come out for a bit of sunshine today for the first time in 8 months lol

Image

Was good to get her out again, didn't drive her on the road as its got no tax (but is mot'ed and insured) but just drive it up and down on the private ground to give her a run and get the brakes etc a working over.

Have me a good sense of satisfaction to be in her again even if it was only a hour but there was not rush like previous years where she's comes out and straight to mot then getting ready for fordfair lol.

The egaled eyed who's followed this thread will notice the
Mk5 sunroof isn't on there, dunno why I must of swapped them
Back for some reason but dunno what that was lol but that's going back on very soon and some other bits will be happening to it, nothing major just the sort of things I've been meaning to do for fcuk knows how long, like fitting the rear head rests that I still haven't done
Might get the mot
Done a month earlier too this year so I got
More time next year, as in haven't got to worry about the mot in August right before fordfair, not that she ever fails on anything but I wanna fit the stainless exhaust back on and the mot place unlike to use has been funny about stainless exhausts on cars for the last few years so at least ill have plenty of time to mot it with a std one and swap bk to the stainless

That's its really nothing major but then again it never is

Cheers guys

Sadly she has no tax other wise I would of gone for a nice drive around the island, and before anyone says tax it, I can't at the mo as spare funds are a little low at the mo and there some family birthdays coming up, so don't think the missis will like it if I go taxing the "car that never moves"

Plus I got to pay off a Jewsons account this month as I've just done my garden up, this is what's taken a lot of the spare money over last couple months

On a plus note, I have mains power to the shed now  this might not mean anything to most but mains power in my shed means a great deal lol it is 5 meters long by 2 meters wife with no windows, little workshop indeed, complete with 10way consumer unit hmmm what bits can I bring home from the workshop

Plus I can use the newly done garden and the cost to justify some bits for the rs later on

fence is all painted now, and just a few minor odds and sods to complete but missis is well happy with it, ill be happy when I get 4 pots lol (how long have I been saying about 4 pots :bonkers: )
