Fiesta RS1800 Track Car

Postby wildheart on Wed Sep 07, 2011 5:08 pm

Decided its time to part with my RS1800 track car after owning it for just over 7 years.

I've spent lots of money on it over the years including a new floor, sills, arches at NMS.
Rough spec is -
Standard 1.8 130ps Zetec (Not long gone around the clock).
Escort RS1600i Gearbox with RST LSD (Box has started to whine!)
K&N 57i Air Filter
Moongoose Exhaust
Magnex DeCat Pipe
Escort Cosworth Bailey Oil Breather with return to the sump
Sump has been Baffled around the pickup pipe.
Uprated Gearbox mounts (forgot what make!)
Vibratechnic Engine Mount
16 Row Oli Cooler with Thermostat
Sapx springs and rear Non adjustable Dampers.
Koni adjustable dampers on front.
Escort RS2000 Discs and Calipers up front with Yellow stuff pads.
Twin rear anti roll bars with poly bushes.
O.M.P 6 point roll cage with door bars.
Rear strut brace
Locking bonnet pins

Comes without the seats and Harnesses and will be on standard alloy wheels.
I havent used this car in about a year so there is no m.o.t or tax.
And also as pictured there is a small slit in the floor when it got caught loading it onto a trailer on one of the ramps so this will need to be filled in with weld.

Im after £995 for this car which is a bargain considering on how much i've spent on it and how little work it needs to complete.

hi there, am currently looking to buy a new day to day car, but will hopefully have some spare cash afterwards, so might give you a buzz in a week or two. is there any leway at all in the price? i know its cheap now, but can it get any lower. (to try and persuade the wife its a good idea lol)
i am rebuilding my rs1800 to track spec, but really wanna drive one again as its been over two years.
is there much needed for the mot? (cat obviously, but i have one :))
