Fiesta RS1800
Hello,
Selling my Fiesta RS1800, I believe it is a former RS owners club car.
The car has been in storage, in a garage, for the last 4 years. The car is located in Oulton Broad, East Anglia, England for viewing / collection.
Car is dark blue metalic, has a toad remote CL alarm & immobilizer fitted, recaro interior, electric windows. The engine and gearbox are / were fine. It also had a new exhaust center box fitted shortly before the last MOT. I stopped using the car within 6 months of the MOT due to the distance I was traveling at the time (East Anglia to Birmingham every other weekend) and the clutch adjuster being on its way out (was letting the clutch out on me in traffic). There are uprated front disks fitted (cross drilled and grooved), uprated suspension (not sure what as it was fitted when I bought it). The thing handles like a gokart and gave me many fun miles.
Now the bad bits:
Cigarette burn in the driver seat.
Clutch adjuster has gone, I bought the replacement but haven't fitted it.
I did some welding on the drivers side sill for the last MOT, I was in a rush so it wasn't finished (ground off and painted).
There is the usual rot around the fuel filler neck.
There are some holes / rot around the boot opening on the top of the back panel where the boot rubber goes.
That's about all I can remember and apart from the mentioned bits of rot the body seems sound. I have the V5, alarm fitment certificate a book full of history and receipts.
If you'd like any further info or arrange a viewing then please contact me. These motors were pretty scarce when they were made and even more so now, so please, no silly offers.
