Hi guys this is my frst which was reshelled by a previous owner into an xr2i shell, the car is in very good condition with only 71,000 miles, i have all paperwork to the original car and have been very happy with the car so far she is running about 195bhp which is enough for an old boy like me, hope you like her, cliff
I do still have a few small bits to do so i'm always looking for help and advise thanks cliff

thats true

yeah they did mate, after i finished doing the restor in 2008, a week later i went to lego land with the wife and kids, left the RS park in the road, came home to find some c**t had keyed it right across the front, and a few cars down, they keyed that one too :x basicly the 2 cleanest cars in the row, there was even my mums, (at the time) brand new car parked 2 cars up from mine, but dirty, and wasnt touched

i should of done it by now, but i left it for some time incase they keyed it again, then i got a garage, and never got round to it, but then that grage used to flood and the roof leaked, and cause i had a old double quilt cover drapped over the car, this got wet, i found it wet some time later, by which time it effected the paint on the roof :x :x i swapped to a garage on the other end of the row when they redone all the doors and roofs, use a halfords advanced car cover which is water proof and now (touch wood and all that) have a garage which is dry

prob kids that done it though, who knows, its the second time it was keyed in the since moving there in 2000, but now, i dont live there anymore, im up the road on a new built estate, i have a drive way for 2 cars next to the house, so it can sit on there when ever i wanna use it, but i leave it at the back behind the galaxy

fords mate, unless you have some gasket paper then you can make a new one.

tbh though fella, your prob find the gasket comes off easy enough, how well it seals when refitted i cant say, but iver reused iscv gaskets on my rs in the past with no issues, if you think its might leake, give it a very light smear with some blue gasket sealer
