fiesta shell on ebay - mk5 front...

Postby xrsi on Tue Feb 05, 2008 3:36 pm

have just been having a quick browse on ebay and come across this...

i know it wont be to many peoples taste but i think you will agree that the front conversion has actually been done quite well and doesnt look too out of place on a mk3.

maybe an idea for people who have been asking about such a conversion constantly!

take a look here mk5 fronted mk3 shell on ebay

I was expecting a full mk5 front end not just the bumper!

i actually dont dislike it, its not somehting i would have but it is certainly better than alot of bumpers out there that people put on the mk3 (a la delta....)

the mk5 grill has been adapted to fill the gap left between the mk3 lights and mk5 bumper which i think is a very nice touch, and quite well executed, even tho it is a little short towards the edges. And the bonnet looks to be a mk5 and mk3 grafted together which again looks to be well done.

Me too!

Personally I think it's a Mk5 with a genuine rusty Mk3 filler panel welded to it and smoothed in :)

in a weird sort of way i like it, was expecting a full mkl5 front tbh but it dont look bad, could of been done a bit better to make things flow more like the bumper to arch, under indicators but none the less, its looks alright
