Fiesta SI (help with eventual 2.0 litre beast)
Right now i have a 1.6 fiesta si with stainless steel exhaust from cat to the back box from exhausts uk cost 250 pounds
and is offensivly loud sorry if you seen me got xr2i alloys
is lowered with Pi springs but i want to fit some coilovers to lower 20 mm from standard as right now my suspension is crap especially round leeds with all the pot holes
I also want to get a 2.0 litre conversion but not sure where to start other than resourcing the engine ect

I think min drop on coilovers is roughly 30mm, could be wrong. You could put the pi shocks on the car aswell, that will improve things.
For the conversion, look in the guids section, there should be a list of the stuff you need to source, look on ebay/ put something up in the wanted section on this site.
Not sure what to say about the zorst, you could just replace the backbox, and dont know why you mentioned xr2i alloys?

Just because I keep talking about definetly doing it doesn't mean I'm actualy going to do it.

I like having my custom backbox not being changd i wanted advice for my coilovers what brands are good
there dampening perfomance any advice on cheap sites not they'll brake your back don't bother when my fiesta has 300 bhp plus the coilovers will mean the car stays attached to the engine and wheels

Car: 1990 Ford Fiesta Popular Plus
HCS PIMP :anyone think i'd be better running either a twin turbo supercharger or just abig gt34 turbo
ok, are you taking the p now? I think in a fiesta engine bay you will only have room for a single turbo or supercharger, also, as a student unless you have a huge loan (more than i was getting) i dont think you will be hitting 300bhp any time soon. Twin turbo supercharger?
Out of interest mate are you foreign, so if thats abit rude but might help clear a few things up in my head.

coilovers i'd avoid AVO as i've had problems with them, the more you pay the better they get
i'd take one step at a time before going on about twin turbo's etc, if i recollect right your HCS previous to the si beat an Audi A4?
don't want to sound harsh, but if your asking a question about what parts to source for a 2.0 conversion & about coilovers why go off on a tangent about 300bhp/turbos/alloys. if you want us to see what your car looks like put in members gallery
2p's worth.

Lets see well your all obviously BNP or just don't understand that some people are dyslexic
And the fact is if you can get a fiesta with a v6
then you can get one with a twin turbo
as there was a sierra engine which could get a turbonatics turbo conversion which came with 2 turbos
I can't wait for the day when I have enough cash to post a picture of my fiesta and prove you wrong but as i said eventual 2.0 litre beast i am simple contemplating what to do next and being anally retentive about spelling is just straight out Pointless
Currently about to get a k&n 57i induction kit with intake pipe so my SI will growl like my HCS did
Also considering a tubular manifold anyone think the ashley exhaust manifold currently posted on ebay is any good and you think it will mean I have to removing my cat

How comes you need money to post a pic of your car up??
Dont understand, your getting a 1.8 Zetec next year and you want 250bhp..........
Just seems you taking a long and complicated route to achieve this. Cut your losses now, save up for a year and buy a Turbo

im with "Camp Captain" admiral
i think hyperformance, adrium flux, bell, asda (if u have Passplus) and Quinn are some of the best for younger drivers.
go on moneysupermarket.com or confused.com, take your 5 lowest quotes, then go to the insurers website and ask about engine swaps

the electric super charger wont do s**t mate, induction kits are better.
my 1.3 could ave 200bhp with nos too
any good luck trying to find a 1.6 vvt focus unit too for less than £1500
the aem computers are good for a RELIABLE 20bhp on most vvt motors as max oil pressure is required for vvt to work effectivly without blowing up, this max oil pressure only occuurs at about 500rpm in a vvt focus.
messing with this will lead to tears if you program the vvt to come in at less than 5000rpm and will ultimatly lead to a big bang.
stick with the 2ltr mate, paying for the conversion and the more expensive insurance will cost less than the parts, mods and ballache +insurance for the vvt motor. not a bad odea, but not very feasable. still its up to u
