The reason people don't have much to say is because your posts are a bit all over the place, as well as sometimes being a little hard to understand.

If you're going to talk about your car, and keep people updated, you should start a Member's Gallery topic. Even if you can't post any photos yet, it keeps it in its logical place, where most people keep a diary of events with their projects.

If you have questions regarding problems, then use the Technical Problems / Queries forum... It's what it's there for, and as long as the topic title is descriptive, people will be able to find it and answer it far more easily than asking questions in the depths of a 2-page tuning topic.

Tuning-related posts can stay in here, but the more they go off topic, the less likely people are to reply :( That's where a Member's Gallery project post is ideal :)

If you want a part, put a post in Parts Wanted... Again, it's what it's there for :)

Not sure if an ST150 gear box will fit, but a 1.6 Zetec will never have the guts to make it the slightest bit worth it. Even if it can pull to the end of 4th, let alone 5th or 6th, it would take a life time to get there...

the idead of the 6th gear was driveablilty as soon to fit a 1.8 head and then turbo it after bored to 1.7 sorry wasn't very clear

my car just order 2 new nankang tyres for the back and will be doing the clutch very soon which clutch better ebc sport or black diamond just want a sport clutch to make the gear changes more sharp and not break my foot pressing the pedal down

also going for some magnecore kv85 and some super 4s then get a more honneed and sharp driving system

no a 1.8 head or a 2ltr head wont go on a 1.6, and theres nothing you can do to make it fit, you cant put much bigger valves in either cos these no space either side of the valves as it is.

just put a 2ltr or 1.8 in it.

yeh but i know that i'll be puttin too much power under the bonnet im sure if i got a spacer made would be clearance and if not how much is a 1.8 and will no doubt need new ecu and the other fun parts im sure a 2.0 litre head will fit or a 1.8 one not even if skimmed???

the effects the spcer would have on the engine would probably knock it below 1.6 si performance due to lowered comperession by the spacer, assuming you mean a spacer between the block and the head.

you need to get a tryed and tested idea and stick to it for it to be reliable and for it to be your daily driver.

how old are you may i ask. then work out what you can afford from there

jesus u guys are stressy
would it not be cheaper insurance wise as a 19 year old a
bout to have 2 years no claims and 2 years driving on a 1.8

not 2.0 litre silver top

thinking of an erst box how much they set u back and where from and will a b&M shifter make a big difference

the 2ltr should be more than affordable for a 19yr old with 2yrs nbc.
