Fiesta Si Track Car 1.8 130 Spec
Reluctant Sale of My Si Track Car, just too many projects and not enough time or space.
Built it with the intention of racing it in the CSCC Tintops series which a good friend of mine races his 205 GTI
Just a few bits and bobs would make it race legal in this championship, that being the following:
Bucket Seat
Harnesses
Plumbed in Fire Extinguisher
Battery Isolator Switch (Present)
Extinguisher and Cut Off Switches (present)
Although the car is far from perfect, it has had a lot of time and money spent on it. Spec is as follows. all parts described as new were fitted 2trackdays ago:
Genuine 60K miles RS1800 Series 2 130spec Zetec (the cam cover is from a series 1 before anyone mentions it )
DEEP 2.0L ECU
2.0L Injectors
1.8 MAF Sensor
Recent LUK Clutch and Release Bearing
New Cambelt and tensioner
New water Pump
Engine serviced when fitted
New FAG wheel bearings all round
New after market wishbones
New anit roll bar links all round
New Mintex 1144 front pads
New Brembo front brake discs
New Rear brake shoes (delphi)
Gaz Coilovers all round with built in 3degrees front camber, rears are rose-jointed and not rubber bushed
Quickshift gear lever mechanism
Safety devices 6point bolt in cage with manditory strengthening plates welded in
New PAS cooler
Decat pipe welded into original system
Bad points:
Little bit of rust here and there, nothing bad though
Has been sat for about 6 months and now the brake pedal is quite long, would benifit from some braided hoses
PAS pump is whining, but has done for years and has never been a problem (I have owned the car for 8years)
Cant think of anything else major
The car has been on a serious diet with anything not needed being removed, things I have done to lighten it are as follows:
Door inners cut away and holes drilled
Passenger window regulator removed and windowed fixed in the up position
Drivers door window regulator swapped to manual from electric
Boot locks removed and springs fitted
Boot inners cut out and holes drilled
Heater matrix and controls removed
Bonnet release removed and pins fitted
Other parts the car comes with:
15" Puma Wheels with Soft Yokohama trackday tyres, which have seen better days but would probably do another couple of track days as the rears hardly wear
XR3i Gearbox-I was going to use the 4.1 final drive to put into the Si gearbox, as the original final drive is too long really
RS Turbo LSD (not fitted)
Stiffer rear coilover springs
Spare pair of front and rear lights
Alloy Strut brace
Spare 1.6 si sump
Spare coil pack
Spare alternator
Spare starter motor
Some other bits and bobs
If I am honest, the car is far from perfect, but is a very good base to make a race car. Just wish I had the time and the space to keep it as I have owned it for many years and it holds a special place in my heart lol
Stickers are courtesy of my mates at work! Note to self, dont leave your track car at work and have a day off
I am looking for £1200 ONO.
It will be advertised for sale complete for 2 weeks before it gets stripped and sold off in parts which is probably what will happen as I know I will get more for it in parts then as a complete car.
There is probably loads I have forgotten but then again, it is 1.50 in the morn
Any questions, PM me or give me a bell 07841339049, ask for James

Once stripped, I'll take the girl lol
Nah, in seriousness, how much for the multiple spokes and are they 15 or 16?

Re: Fiesta Si Track Car 1.8 130 Spec
do the front bars of the roll cage detach away from the rest of the cage ? along with the side impact bars ? and if so would you sell them ? want to make my half cage a full one. also are they prespex windows or just glass ?

The wheels are 15's, not really looked into prices yet but open to offers at this stage until I have had a look into it and got the car stripped which should be Saturday if it doesn't sell complete.
Yes the front half is separate but I want to sell the cage complete unless someone else wants the half cage!
