hiya i got a corsa but thinking about putting my 1.6si engine into it, i dont fancy spending hundreds turbo'ing it so was thinking could i put twin webbers on it or motorbike carbs

1.6Si motor is a completely untunable nail of an engine. Sell it to a sailor in need of a boat anchor. Turboing it will cost thousands not hundreds :wink:

The fabrication and messing about required to get it in to a Corsa and running just wouldn't make it cost effective. If you like your Corsa your best option is take off the bits you want and sell to buy a more powerfull Corsa. Insurance will be higher on a modded car than a standard one so you'll almost certainly find it cheaper to insure a Corsa Sport 1600 than try to insure a 1.2 Corsa with a bigger engine stuck in it.
