couldnt clean the tank need a new one

had it out for its first run since oct last year, on new injectors and ecu ect and all is fine boost upto 0.6bar :o more to come and soon :)

yes mate will be on a dyno as soon as the boost is back to where i want it lol :) .
but f**k me it flys on .6 bar :o

p-s not that im that bothered what it makes as long as its 350+ :o

forgot to say im testing a new head gasket its a ford part and 1.8mm thick has dropped my cr from 8-8-1 down to 8-3-1,will see if its any good but it should be as its basicaly the same as the focus st and rs but a little thicker :)

hey mate did you fit the sub frame back on your car? asking as i cant fit mine due to exhaust and when i looked back at your pictures when you had the st170 engine it doesnt look like you have fitted it.

luca :whats it off then mate..

its just a 2.0l zetec /st170 gasket that ford use when the head and block have been skimmed a bit too far ,a friend in fords told me about it, not Manny people know there is such a gasket i needed the part nomber to get it as the tech gay didnt know about it lol.

do you mean the brace that links the wishbones then no i havent tryed to fit it but i will in the summer :)

yeah the brace mate, am thinking cutting mine and making a new bit to go under exhaust, exhaust is bang on in line with it or do you think i could just space the brace down with 1" steel blocks between the brace and floor, if you know what i mean.

would that not put more stain on the bolts ??
thinking about it so long as the bolts and threads are good nick should be ok
just use some washers or some 15mm thick sheet metal

yeah true, ive used just solid brass spacers about 15mm. its temp tho as its all i had, ill get 15mm bar and weld it to the brace and re drill the holes. should be solid enough

Ive retained the lower brace between wishbones and have 1inch alloy spacers.

There is no extra strain on the bolts.. aslong as you use longer high tensile bolts.

you thought could be a problem with the waste gate or actuator causing the low boost ?? or maybe the map sensor

i havent got a boost problem mate :D i always start mapping with the lowest boost i can run then start turning it up till its where i want it .

mines is up and running now mate, cant get rev counter to work, i connected wire that went to ofab ecu to the gotech, but doesnt work? you any ideas as you were running gotech before was you.

ahh cool mate made up for you. take the wire from the clocks, iirc its the green one and run it too any of the two outside wires on the plug for your coil pack ,thats how mine has been for years :D

6weeks :o god i need to keep track of time lol though i had longer than that haha,do you know what boost your going to be runnin then mate or are you just going to keep increasing till you cant go no more? lol
