cheers. the plenum feeding the main plenum is a cone :D didnt you see you pic of the cvh one i made ? its a few posts up .

The area over each inlet port should be a 1/4 less than the previous port :)

Maybe the picture doesn't show the angle too well.

The need for tapering down will certainly be lessened in a double plenum setup, compared to single plenum, but it's probably still there to a degree. I could've run a flow simulation if I had Solidworks to hand...best get to grips with simulation on Inventor!

Did you have the 2.0 ratios with 3.41 FD?

What didn't you like about it?

it is a focus rs box with the 3.41 fd fitted .
it geared the car for over 180mph , i only fitted it so i could hit 130+ in 4th gear . top speed is not my thing
its hard to explain but just sort of took a little edge of how torquey it was low down part throttle low boost round town if that makes sence.
it made more boost lower down but didnt pull harder for it ,made it feel a little laggy but the data logs show it wasnt

Ahh OK. FYI the FRS box is just a 2.0 box with the diff and shot peened gears.

I'm making up a 3.41 box also the other - is it 4.21 or something?
