been meaning to do this for the last two years :o
the standard cam belt tensioners on the blacktop are not very good and the little tab for the self tensioner is the worst part.
i have had one sheer cleen off and an other twist in the last two years :x

so i have made this manual tensioner and its all steel not like the standard plastic item

Could wait a bit longer, my standard one has rounded off on the Allen key hole so when I take the cambelt off to fit the vvt delete vernier adaptor I probably won't be able to retension it :(

its on the small side but its the biggest i could fit in the space i want to put it in, but if its a problem i will double stack two cores back to back doubling its capacity :D core is 350x350x50mm so could end up with 305x350x100mm

yes i have loads of room there  but i didnt want to put it there. wanted to do somthing differernt from the norm.
plus moving it over will help with water temps and also act's as the rad wont be heating the intercooler and the intercooler wont be obstructing the rad plus it will counter balance having the oil tank for the dry sump in the other front corner :)

I think that'll be way too small mate. In terms of doubling up, the max efficiency is within the first 30mm and beyond that it falls off rapidly as the air looses speed and is heated by the fins. Can you get the same rad on the opposite side?
