FIESTA TURBO re birth another one saved
after having the cabby last year decided i was going to have a track car this year had the car 16v 2i and couldent get my old frst out of my head so it was decided that id build yet another frst from the grouned up lol this is my 15th fiesta and my 3rd rs 2 of which ive built from a shell so the plan was set to star sourcing all the parts :1356:
shell was founed and it was a shell not one nut clip screw or bolt was left on as the previous owner ian frst had bought eveyone new net screw bolt and the lot was going on e bay pics when it arived notice lack of lower arms
my mate what the f*** have you bought now i belive was the comment lol
few pics of the under side
rear floor aint to undidy lol
rear archs
next two weeks car remained the same while i started to scource parts a xr was founed to supply all screws clips and sundarys i would need
will keep you up dated comments welcome

Good on you Mark, there really wasn't much on there for you to work with was there?! I noticed the wiper stubs sitting low in that top pic...that pikey really did take everything with him didn't he?!
Those 45 profile tyres will probably cause you some problems.
What's the plan engine-wise then? Shame you didn't start earlier or you could've been at FITP! When did you last attend one matey??

Dude! I sent Ian my original mint brake fluid reservoir, get it off him if you can, as that one lets the bay down IMO. A few tidy-up touches and that bay would be show-a-licious! Tis nice to see a well-practised Fiesta geek at work, you're really ripping through it all

chris-fiesta :looking good mate...
what happened round the fuel pump area under rear bench??
Often people can't be bothered or are unable (due to the clips breaking) to lower the tank to access the pump... Shame to see

to be fair, its easier to cut a bigger hole, than it is to lower the whole tank to remove the pump (and no, i didnt cut the hole, it was like that when i got it )
when the seats over it, it makes no difference what so ever, so why not make the hole bigger
ford rectified this and made the mk3.5 holes biger i think, didnt they?

You've still got to drop the tank on 3.5's.
