hey all, im almost 17 and was thinking bout getting a 1.6 XR2i untill i see the price of the insurance, Could any 1 rekomend a decent 1st car that could be done up to look sweet and also a bit nippy?

Go for a 1.6 si they are pretty nippy and not to bad on insurance as they are only group 7

its group 7 insurance so it would be the same as 1.6 si fiesta

obviously a 1.1 would be lower on insurance but look wise u wanna go for an si as they are pretty nippy but not to bad on insrance

get it lowered
get some decent alloys on it
etc etc

depends on how far u wanna go really

any mods u make will also increase your insurance as well

with 15s on it u could probally drop it no more that 35 mil without arch mods but it depends on the car

i paid 190 for my window tints

yea defo go for SI the 1.6 is group 8 and 1.4 is group 7 might aswell go for the 1.6 for sake of a few quid. they arnt the fastest cars in the world but nippy enough for a first car and i dont care what anyone says the rear bumper on the Si is the best rear bumper in my opinion. they look tidy with just a set of alloys cause all the bumpers are colour coded.
