Yeah, I have to admit Max's photoshop has made me think about changing those bits - but it's not my car so I'm happy with it the way it is TBH!

Back to the original subject!
Got a new vid of the PC system running here - I'll be taking a few more when it's dark as it shows up better on the cam (it's alot better to watch with the naked eye so to speak!).
Here's a vid of the PC system running (right click and save target as):
http://www.fiestaturbo.nildram.co.uk/fiestavids/miniPCvid4.AVI
What do you think (it's my Dad's car and has s**t standard stereo at the moment - can't wait to get my carputer done as it'll be running with a proper sound setup!).
Cheers,
Andy

The system is £1400 supplied or £1600 installed (I'll be doing mobile installation service, so will come to your house or wherever you choose).
I've got a pretty basic website setup at the moment (a better one is being built up!) at http://www.multimediacar.co.uk - got more information on there.
Cheers,
Andy

Hi mate,
Yeah - that's what I think's great about my systems, it's pretty flexible what case you can use and location of the unit isn't limited just to the boot (you could probably fit it under the passenger seat for instance).
e-mail or PM me a list of spec if you want and we can discuss it further.
Cheers,
Andy

I'm looking at doing something like this as one of my options for my individual study next year, but it's all down to whether I can get the electronic side done without too much hassle as it's something that I can't be spending my time on

Hi,
Well, my Dad's convertible hasn't been used that much in the past 5 years, but when taking the car to FITP we had the PC system running for most of the day (probably about 7 hours in total) and we went to start the engine afterwards and fired up without any problems at all!
The PSU for a basic setup is a 90W unit but the biggest PSU I use for my systems is 150W, so it's no worse running an amplifier
Cheers,
Andy
