2000 was my second time, the first time I went with the XROC and the second (2000) was with the FCGB because I won "Best FCGB Car on the Club Stand". 1999 was also held at Wicksteed Park and was a small affair. If you stayed to the end you would have seen my car with a full bra!

Agree with Max, Wicksteed was a superb venue and offered much more than Huntingdon, however, the access was awful at best.

I liked Wicksteed Park as it has a great view and things to do.

Access was the major problem at Wicksteed and made worse by the wooden stakes they put in. The days of the show were supposed to be solely FITP yet they had boot fairs, 2000 people weddings and anything else they could make money on. The FCGB also directed all their traffic because they never had enough staff. The show itself made Wicksteed Park a lot of money for doing nothing, at least now the FCGB get some reward for the work we put in.

I understand the the manager who I drove for two hours to meet and kept leaving every ten minutes to park coaches has now gone. I also know they have lost a number of other events. Unless FITP gets smaller I cannot see it returning to Wicksteed.

We have had a offer to hold the show somewhere else, but when Ford Fair (pre Silverstone) was held there, it had same problem getting in as Wicksteed.

What's actually happening with us this year anyway? FSI and FiestaGuides both have their ticket threads up now (even if it is sooooo early lol). Hopefully nothing came of the rumors of us being banned either!

Eh, what rumours?

The only people close to being banned as far as I could tell were ZSOC, but I'm not certain.

I understand from the main man that all electronic club invites have been sent out. There are a few which still have theirs' posted. If another copy is required let me know, although a form can be downloaded from here http://www.fiestaclubgb.co.uk/fitp2009.htm.

FT.com have not been banned, ZSOC were close to being banned due to the damage caused at a hotel and a streak at FITP from 2007. (A FCGB lady said he had nothing to write home about! ) There were two cars of FT.com seen spinning wheels. (The silver Capri and the bright metalic green turbo - I have caught up with him and if he even moves he will be removed from the show as he did the same at Thurrock not knowing I was there until reading I was going to ban him on UKFN  )

Any problems send me a PM.
