Fitting a cat-back Magnex exhaust tommorow, any tips?

Postby James_Si on Mon Mar 07, 2005 11:04 pm

Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum and it's deffinately the best for fiesta knowledge.

I own a Fiesta si 1.6 and am fitting a cat-back magnex exhaust 4" round exit. Just wanted to find out who's done it before and is it a straight forward job, any special stuff would i need to do it?

Also how long did it take?

Cheers.

Fitted a 3" of the same to my Si a few weeks back. Didnt take too long and all you need is some spanners (13mm), exhaust paste and a brain!

If the exhaust isnt brand new you will probably need some new clamps (54mm) and 2 new rubbers for at the back.

Cheers, i got that gum stuff for sealant. I'm going to see if the rubbers need replacing. But having trubble with an old jack so no luck in getting it in the air yet :(. Going to find another jack, or take it into my college because they have a four-poster.
