fitting a new engine, and insurance

what do insurance companies think of dropping a new engine in a car? [ERRR] they alwyas want to know the exact model of the car etc, but if its got a new engine in, it wont all match up! does it cost more for you to put a new engine in, than 2 buy a car that originally had a larger engine?
