Fitting Alloy Wheels. Too Wide!
Okay, ive just bought some 17" alloys that i was told came off a Ford Fiesta Mk 5.
I bought them home and went to fit them to find that they were too wide.
I myself was confused to why this would be as i own a Ford Fiesta Mk 5 which seems to not allow any room between the tyre and the rear shocks...
I guess he just wanted to sell them
So just wondering if anyone knows of any ways i could fit these alloys due to the fact they are too wide and scrub the rear shocks as they rotate. I have considered spacers but the hub bolts seem on the edge of being long enough to hold them on as it is so would require me to buy longer bolts of new hubs? However then i run the risk of needed to 'roll the arches' So now i am stuck..
Is it possible to get smaller diameter shocks so the wheel will not rub?
Thanks!!
Ben

Could you direct me to somewhere that would sell the longer bolts?
Also are they easy to fit?
And to be annoying how easy it it to roll the arches ?
