what sort of work is involved do you use the same mounts or do you have to weld and stuff......

Same engine and gearbox mounts, you lose the battery tray in most cases to make space for the fuel metering head, a custom exhaust downpipe needs to be made up to make the T3 to the exhaust, and wiring loom needs to be joined to the car using a bit of DIY splicing, but it has been done before, and covered on this foum before quite comprehensively as well - try a nice Image Search :D
