fitting my 4 pots, help pls

Postby sparkyt on Sat Dec 12, 2009 9:01 pm

Hi i have some recon cossie 2dw 4pot s for my fiesta rs turbo.New cos disk s and pads, a m12 tap and stainless bolts thread lock and adaptors from burton power for the brake lines.

My question is do i need to machine 4mm off the calipers as shown on the RSbible.com ? As they only show fitting these calipers to a MK4 escort rs turbo.
I s the MK3 fiesta similar ?
I just dont want to tap out my m10 holes and then not be able to use car until i can get them machined,

Please anyone that can help any info would be gratefully recieved..

What Disc are you useing? 283mm 2wd Disc or 278mm 4x4 disc?

I used the 283mm ones, had to put a 10mm spacers between the disc and hub and then had to get longer studs.

And had to make the calipar holes a little bigger to help line up, no machineing needed.
