iv just bought a pair of dimond audio 13cm speakers ! there amazing and would recomend them to anyone ! only thing is ........ the cones 13cm yes but the whole units 16cms ! :o so they wont fit behind the standard door pods in the front! :rolleyes: any suggestions boys and girls? i want it to be a neat job ! and they dont come with covers so dont really want them just sat in the door if you know what i meen since there worth 200 quid a pair!! :o

I had this problem on my Mk 4 with some Alpine S Types, but there was a bit of door metal in the way. That was trimmed out and waxoyled to give some more room.
If they are hitting the outer door skin though, I think your best option is to create some custom pods. Plenty of guides on the net on how to do it.

yip agreed with above, only solution here is either send them back and just get some 13cm's or make some tasty pods. I'd make you some if you fancy just pm me and I'll advise you a price, or have a jolly good crack at it yourself, not too dificult.
