Hello all....

Its getting close to finally filling the car up with the fluids...

I have sorted the Running in Oil and the Oil once its all bedded in..

Just have a few questions whats going to be the best fluids for the following

Escort RS Turbo LSD Gearbox.

also

Brake System.. Mondeo Servo - Braided lines - 4 pot Wilwoods

Car is going to be used on track and fast road use too...

Cheers

Im at the same stage.

Ive used the 20/50 mineral oil ( cheapest s**t i can find) to use for 500 miles then change filter and oil again, then the same grade for another 500, change the filter then put the real stuff in.

Gearbox oil ive chosen is a fully synthetic 75/90. (Ive got a non slipper). I phoned CTS and spoke to Bernie and he said that the semi/fully synthetic oils are good for my box. Give then a ring to confirm that its the same for the LSD box. (0141-647-5666)

As for the brake setup maybe AP Racing 5.1 would do but dont hold me to that, but im sure its good for track action!!

:D :D

Ep90 is the right stuff for a LSD box.

Track use you can use dot 4 or dot 5.1
The dot 5.1 has a higher boiling point so prob better suited for ya, but it absorbs water more, so regular fluid changes will be best.

Can't remember off hand, the Haynes will tell you, but say 1 litre to allow for bleeding and spare for top up

Litre and half should be enough if you think it won't be get another litre.

You going to pressure bleed it all through?
