Postby goaty on Sat Mar 10, 2007 2:36 pm

Hi,
I have read through the guides etc but i would like to speak to someone who is actually running it.

So if anyone is running or has run a Focus plastic inlet please let us know.

want to know if there have been any problems with it.

thanks

Well I never did get around to Rolling Roading it but after fitting it (combined with a Viper induction filter) I would estimate 140bhp should easily be achieved, in all honesty mated with a decent exhaust manifold and system and id expect a very healthy increase again - 150/160bhp wouldnt have suprised me too much but I may be over exagerating.

TeamFord is 'up in air' at the moment while I am sorting a new update but I shall get you the guides link incase you havnt seen it.

I do have a few pics of it fitted, give me a few mins and i'll find them and upload them for you to view (Really they should be added to the guide).

As for my opinion on it, I think its a very worth while modification and is very under-rated from the few that have carried it out.

Heres some of it fitted, might not be the best but you get the idea. I have given you the links so when you open them you can view the picture in its real size (Huuuuugggeee).

My car wasnt a daily driver but was run for some hours with the inlet fitted. I had no problems at all apart from a very small one, the revs didnt reduce as quick as they should (Full throttle then let go) but I was told by Sunil this was to do with the wiring, I used bullet connectors and I think he said he had this problem but alot more severe than me so he soldered them and didnt have any problems after that - IIRC
