For anyone who knows anything CVH (ish)

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Hi people,

You may or may not know I've got a 1.4 si, anyway for some reason (don't ask why?!?) it felt a bit more powerful today and was much better to drive. To cut the story short I wnat it to be a bit nippier so I was wondering what would be the best thing to do to it.
I really ain't got much of a clue (yet) as to (serious) engine modding so I was wondering if someone could help. I know loadsa people are gonna say either:
i)The si was built as an economy hatch, and it's not even very economical or
ii)Your wasting your time, whack another lump in.
One thing I was wondering about was to increase the bottom end size. I may have just made myself look like a nob, as on here I've only ever heard of doing that to a Turbo'd mota. Would it have much of an effect to mine if I got it re-mapped afterwards? Thinking either 1.6 (xr2i) or 1.8 zetec ? I don't know.
I may also be able to get hold of an RS1800 engine, as my si is cvh how hard would it be to fit?

Anyway thats enough from me, just hope someone can help!

Cheers, Rob.
