For sale XR2I 1.6 8v £300 t&t
Here is my xr2i ill start with the bad points
Drivers window a bit sticky sometimes (alwase goes up tho)
Driver side rear shock worn
rust on drivers door (just under the blue strip size of 10p and a scratch on rear quarter level to the handle, easily removed with touch up paint)
1 gearbox mount needs changing
Carpet from the boot is missing
Rev counter doesnt work
Bought this car on friday the 11th and im waiting for the v5 to come through (i have green slip and can provide full contact details of the previous owner, who owned the car for the last 6 years. Very reluctant to sell this car as ive alwase wanted one. The insurance companys seem to think otherwise
The good bits
No rust near or around the petrol cap
Recently had gearbox replaced with 60k on it
1.6 8v -faster than the 1.8 version and less electricals 2 go wrong
New clutch
New brake pads
Clifford G5 thatcham alarm (does central locking and you can open the boot with the key fob)
Well looked after
Apart from the scrarch and bit of rust mentioned above the car is in excelent condition paint shines nicely in the sun
K&N filter
Seats are mint
All tyres are good 15" low profile
M.O.T untill december Tax untill end of july
same key for all locks all original. Spare key and 2nd Clifford key fob
Lots of paperwork
i have the new keepers slip stilll waiting on v5 should take no longer than a week to arrive 2 me
Genuine reason 4 sale ( i cant get insured on it!)
Call 07523985925 (no private numbers or calls after 11pm will not be answered thanks)
Perfect for someone who knows a bit of mechanics, very cheap 2 make this car perfect. Even if you take it to a garage to be repaired will cost no more than 150-180 and u will have a good example of a xr2i
Come and have a look you will not be disapointed
