For those on 60mm drop

Postby Matt L on Tue Feb 03, 2004 2:08 pm

My mk3 is lower on a 60mm drop on 15" 45 profile tyres and quite frankly the ride is total sh*te. Is it just me or should my car be bumping all over the place, feelin' every little bump in the road and sounding like a train when goin over a series of small bumps and potholes :-?
I did have a 40mm drop on gmax shock and spring but the brought 60mm gmax spring and put them on the 40mm shocks. Are these the right shocks?

24 profile tyres? Hmmmm...

I don't know if it's as simple as putting shorter springs on "uprated" shocks such as Gmax...I'd guess not. Ask a dealer.

i've looked in to getting the 60mm spring and shock kit from g-max n the shocks are different they are alot shorter and u do need them so this would seem to be the problem
