Ford Cougar 2.5 V6 _ 11 Months MoT
About time I moved on from owning this car, plus family needs require it shifted!
Listed on ebay below!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251178313185
Ford Cougar 2.5 V6
Mileage: 106,458
MoT: 30th September 2013
Tax: 01 January 2013
Owned for around 3 and a half years and having to sell for the usual family reasons..... need a car for the family!
During ownership I have replaced a pulley on the air conditioning belt, the air conditioning condenser along with the re-fill valve. The air conditioning is ice cold and has been for a couple of years now after the replacements.
Recent MoT advised the change of alternator, this was replaced and a new battery installed as extra measure.
All work carried out by Ford main dealership, along with all genuine Ford parts with several receipts to prove.
Serviced every year, again by Fords, with genuine Ford parts.
Good points:
The car is standard with no after market parts,
Full leather interior with no rips or marks,
Full electric front seats,
Heated front seats,
Climate control,
Air conditioning,
16' Alloy wheels,
Standard CD Player,
Electric windows and mirrors,
Full velour Ford interior mats,
Brand new Ford Battery,
Brand new Ford alternator,
2 keys - one remote, one without,
Drive belt replaced around 80,000 miles.
Everything in full working order!
Bad points:
Service light is on, due to Ford forgetting to turn it off when last serviced / worked on. I may be able to get this switched off prior to sale.
Brake pad warning light is on. I have had this checked by Ford and have been informed that it is due to the person prior to myself replacing the pads with those without sensors. I am confident this is the case as the light has been on since I have bought the car and have been through several MoT's since.
The car was broken into around 2 years ago, a crowbar was used to pry open the front window and left some damage on the a-pillar as shown in the pictures. Both side windows were replaced by Autoglass and there has been no leaking since.
Paint work is in good condition apart from a couple of shopping dings on the passenger side and of course the crowbar markings.
Available for viewing after 6pm, may be able to do day viewing if arranged.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
