God knows what the guy was talking about my exhaust for in that 4th vid??? :-?

6.38s (or.36 on the time sheet?) - Oh yeah baby! Bring on the 5s next year

95 Fiesta SI (Sorry, don't know your name! ) - What times did you get? Sounded like there was on error on your 2nd run so guessing you didn't get that one? :(

Hi, yes first run was a disaster, my linkage is shot, so typically i struggled with 2nd and 3rd gear and got a time of 9.36. 2nd run was much better but for some reason it never recorded my time :-? . They give me a free pass to run again, but the que had got massive so i never bothered. Think i might have a vid of yours, will have to check, what engines in your white fez ?

Cheers
John

I have to say that's an outstanding showing from Smo. Just goes to show what can be done on something other than a big money budget and with a bit of care and ability on the pedals.

Hi John,

Yeah, my first one was a disaster too! Totally spun up the left wheel and then missed second gear, AND THEN apparently (so I'm told) I hit a damp patch when I did find second gear and just spun up some more  There seemed to be a few people with unrecorded times that should have got some very good figures :( Bit frustrating the size of queue later in the day, but then it happens every year  So glad I waited for my last run though :D Mine's a 1.8 Zetec, so nothing amazing but I've always had faith in it :) Yours is a 2.0, isn't it? Going by the looks of your 2nd run video, it should have been a really good time! Don't see enough MK3s out there really!

Cheers for that video too - Nice seeing a little bit more of that run :D (No offence to Steve who did a wicked job recording footage all day! :bonkers: )

Do you reckon you could email me that video if I PM you my email address?

Simon :)

Thanks Grant - You almost make it sound like I had some skill out there, though!!!

Yes no problem, PM me your email address and i'll send it over. That time is well impressive mate for a 1.8 and you launched it perfect with a nice smooth run. Yes mines a 2.0L, shame that my last run wasnt timed, it wasnt a perfect run but a much better one.

Come on, no one else got any videos? :bonkers:

I saw Andy (AW3K) has linked to one in his post - there must be others that gave it a go though?
