Re: Ford Fiesta mk4 Zetec S 1.7 16v 126bhp puma engine, sleeper
1999 V reg Fiesta Zetec LX, originally a 1.25 when i bought it but have sinse converted it to 1.7 variable cam puma engine, box, loom ecu (dont be fooled by the 1.25 sticker on the cambelt cover its there for stealth, cheap tax nd insurance), im a qualified mechanic nd the conversion was done at work, ive made sure underbonnet looks asif its just left the factory. The engine has only done 80000miles, and has had a new clutch and cambelt in the last 12months receipts to prove
The engine and box are perfect.
Engine has fresh genuine ford 5w30 oil & filter
Genuine Ford Air filter
And the gearbox has fresh oil in it.
Ive just fitted a brand new genuine ford full zetec s exhaust system for stealth appeal but lets the engine breath, ive also modified the airbox so you can here it raw when it comes on cam.
Now also has a puma shorter gearshift set up,
The Bodywork on this is one of the best ive seen aside from a couple a little car park dings and scratches, the paints in very good condition and theres no rot on it what so ever, arches are A1, only 1 small scab on the lip of the boot.
Underneath its never been welded and doesnt need any, ive also waxoiled key areas to make sure it does need any either!
The interior is immaculate, hardly worn, nd no burns or rips etc.
Car has aircon fitted but will need regassing as i havent had chance sinse i converted it.
Chassis wise, its lowered on 30mm gmax springs (new) which arnt to hard, but sharpen up the handling nicely. Zetec S 15" alloys with st170 centre caps, good tyres all round.
And ive just fitted mondeo st220 300mm brakes up from so it now stops as well as it goes.
Only MOT'd a couple of months ago about 10months on that
And i put 6 months tax on it around the same time.
Ive done over 4000miles in it sinse i carried out all the work and it hasnt missed a beat.
I love this car but wanted to move on to bigger things

Well would be up to the new owner to change it, I could supply official letter from garage & ford if needed as proof for Dvla (I've looked in to this) don't use the car enough to make it worth while for me to do it. Is yours declared?

Hello.
First post!
I know this is a very old thread, but i must ask, does anyone know where this car ended up?
Is it still around? Possibly for sale?
I wonder.....
If anyone knows, please do let me know.
