I hate these clips, the amout of times ive slipped with the plyers trying to get them off, their little c*nts!

I much prefer jubalee clips, I just think these are more cost cutting cheap bollox associated with most things these days.

Defo use jubalee's, but thats just me lol

if they leak gav within 1 year of purchase i will get you a new one under warranty free of charge

they wouldnt use them if they didnt do the job. Yes they might be cheaper but its a water hose not a boost hose.

stop being a big girls blouse. The clips are only a pig to fit if you dont have the correct tool. Pliers are not the right tool

As stated above, they'l do the the job!

But they are c**ts, especially when they've been untouched for years and practically rusted solid. One of them came loose on my escort during the big freeze, and was a complete pig to get off completely. Ended up spending hours in freezin conditions, standing on bloody ice with numb hands trying to feel were the clip was and reposition the hose to the heater matrix. :x

So outa interest what is the correct tool for em?

with ford and the way parts are made its all about cost these days

they are cheaper to make as its one piece of metal compared to the jubilee clips.

Link has a larger version of the pic

here is the correct tool for the job
as you can see it has the right size lip for the clamps and it dont slide off and cut your knuckles up :)
