WOW top work, IMO spray either the bonnet white and thats it, or roof black and side strips black too ;)

yeah, i remember you posted about it a while ago, i think i took some pictures, but not as many as i would have liked of the repair. i'll see what i can find and then i'll explain what i did. it wasn't so hard, its just that whatever rust you can see, there is a heck of a lot more that you can't see. but i'll post that tomorrow as i'm tired now. :)

thanks for the comments, some c**t! ran into the back of it today so it needs a new rear bumper i guess, and maybe some more attention but i havent taken a proper look at it yet. nothing too serious though

Yep, looks sweet. I tried out a black bonnet on mine a while ago, got lots of stick for it. I liked it at first, than decided it was best the colour of the car so got it resprayed. I think the same applies to yours, however it does look ok, and if you like it that way, keep it that way, don't follow trends! Looks great all round and with the fresh paint. The stripes look good, but don't go with the bonnet. Anyway, it looks excellent still! Respect! :Q

saw this in MK today, and it was looking rather sorry for itself which is a shame cos the pics of it here look wicked. Had steel wheels too, and a rear brake light is out in case u didnt know. I donno, maybe just needed a good clean. And then I saw a bright baby blue RS1800 in Newport Pangell
