:-? i drive a 1.3 hcs (cant afford insurance on anything else

well the strut braces are good for stiffening up the chassis so you can chuck it into corners harder. unless your planning on doing an engine swap later on for something like a 2 litre zetec or a 1.6 turbo engine its a rather redundant mod as it stands.

And with standard suspension and standard bushes.......you might as well just have a little bonfire with your cash. or send it to me for disposal if your worried about burning it damaging the environment and all that

dont do any modding whatsoever on your current car then. just get it running well with totally standard genuine parts and keep it in good working order. then you may make a few pennies when it comes time to sell up

Pointless mod on a 1.3

RS1800 will probably be more on insurance then a turbo!

Smooth SI :Pointless mod on a 1.3

I looked at an RS1800 and it was £235 to insure FC whereas teh turbo I eventually purchased was £350 FC (which rose to £475 once the mods went on)
