FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER FOR T3
hi peeps.
ive recently done a t3 conv on my frst and ive decided to upgrade from the pace double capacity intercooler as i want a front mount, do i still go for a fiesta front mounted or go for an escort front mounted one as this was made for the t3, i assume its gunna be all about the fitting, id like to be able to use the existing silicone hoses for the intercooler and mounting to be as simple as poss.thanks

Re: FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER FOR T3
i've got a turbo running the T3 setup and thought it would be good idea to use a pace double capacity jobbie. i wanted to keep the original appearance of the car by not cutting the bumper to pieces but to be honest it just didn't happen!
Because the rad is moved forward when fitting the T3 there is no room for the intercooler where it is supposed to mount, i got so fed up of trying i ended up just putting the original standard intercooler back on.
Don't let me put you off as i would love to see how it can be done if somebody has the time and patience to fiddle around with it

Re: FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER FOR T3
with t2 or t3 you use a fiesta front mount, the only difference with the t3 conversion is the actual bottom boost hose coming from the turbo to the intercooler.
The bottom boost hose for a t3 coverted car can use a cut down ERST item as it needs to be like an S shape on a t3 conversion which the ERST item already is.
