front mounted intercooler

Postby outoftheordinary on Tue Apr 22, 2008 3:52 pm

Hi,
i have got a fiesta turbo with the T3 conersion, i have got a front mounted intercooler with external fans. i was advised by Paul at engine advantages that my car will over heat during the warm weather and didnt think nothing of it, but now i've noticed the difference i need to get another fan and bolt it on to my radiator but with the space i have on my Rad the fan will only be cooling my down pipe and not the turbo!

has anyone got any ideas how i can get more cold air going onto the engine?

i have already got a induction installed.

many thanks

Right you will need as much of the bumper cut away as you can then 75* thermostat the biggest fan's you can get you will find the spal fan's are the thinest by far (52mm i think) and as you have a front mounted cooler you can have a longer rad (alloy is better for cooling) im going to look at getting a cossy fan switch as there ment to come in earlier

Ebay you need to cut them down to get them to fit that's all in the ebay add it's easy i can't see them on ebay now but if you can get a 82 then that still would be good get a electric fan switch burton power sell them for a £33 there easy to fit and you can adjust the fan to come on at around 70*
