The RS1800 is not a turbo engine. It is a Ford Zetec naturally aspirated.
Do you want to use this zetec engine and then turbo this??
Or do you wish to bore your 1600 CVH engine to a 1800 CVH??

Zetec bottom end can be adapted to fit the CVH head. Engine is called a ZVH.

For our English speaking peeps...
Yes as heeman10 said. Would you consider the full Zetec conversion or do you wish to retain your existing CVH because it is in good condition? Another factor here will be how much money your looking at spending.

try looking for a xr2i 16V in stead of a rs1800 in the rest of europe ..
the xr2i 16v in England was sold with 'just' the 105BHP engine.. and the rs1800 was sold with the 130bhp version..
in the rest of europe (wel .. at least in holland) the rs1800 was never sold.. it was called xr2i 16v .. and had 130BHP ..
the 105 version was only sold in the 1.8i S model in holland (no spoilers/skirts/sporty trim)
