FRST 195 chip question

Postby LeeM2 on Wed Jul 14, 2004 9:16 pm

Is it possible to run a 195 chip in my Fezzy turbo without the uprated injectors? Will be running bout 14psi.

Currently have; Std T2 turbo, lightened flywheel, uprated T2 actuator, Kent Cam, n the usual k&n and full exhaust system.

Thanks,

Anyone have a clue what bhp that would that might be running :-?

Yeh looks like it'll b the 165 chip.

I want to be running 170bhp, dya reckon this is possible with the above chip pushing 14psi with the following;

Std T2, uprated T2 actuator, std head & injectors, kent cam, lightend fly wheel, pace intercooler, oil separator, and the usual k&n and full zorst system..

cheers.

There is no hard and fast rules to say with that spec. you will get it. There are SO many different factors involved. Only way to find out is get it set-up and see what happens on the rollers.

if ya speak to Stu from motorsport developments about his Evo Chip.

I bought a 165 for mine and he said that it should be pushing about 170BHP. Havent had it rolling roaded yet. But as Fezzy Turbo said there are many factors that would affect this.

Good chip to go for if ya gunna buy one

mine was rolling roaded with a zorst and induction kit at 142 bhp then i had it chipped which is sposed to add 30 bhp so in theory mine should be about 170bhp, but i dunno if thats what it will be ?

do u like your pace intercooler ?
