Postby TIL13R on Thu Oct 04, 2007 8:34 pm

Well as i am totally new to all this (well talking for my friend) what is needed to achive a nice 200bhp or around that.........

Could you post up your specs please :) and power output.

would i need these items?

T3
Double Capaticy intercooler

Car has got Alot of headwork done ie P+P Big Valves, Solid Lifters, Kent Cam.

Would uprated fuel pump be any good? if so what one and how much?

What sort of injectors should it be running too?

Also any other things that i should consider?

Engine is currently cvh, not looking to go full Zetec but would possibly cinsider ZVH

Cheers

Tiller

My brothers made 211bhp on my mates Dyno Dynamics rollers spec was.

Stage 1 Hybrid T3
Beiges
195 chip
Kent CVH 35 cam and vernier
Cossie fuel pump
Pace intercooler (small item)

Some carefull setting up on the rollers with a peak of 21psi and holding 19psi.

Wait for the new spec. I've seen what's on order :P :D

use a cossie fuel pump, beige injectors and use either a front mount or uprated intercooler with a T3 (has been done with a T2) and a remap should see the magic 200

Is that without changing the internals or dropping the compression?

Thanks,

my mates saw 217bhp on his 120k cvh turbo engine, never missed a beat, ran it at that spec for around 2-3 years, finally deciced to get a focus rs and the fiesta was scrapped due to the amount of rot in the shell, engine still lives on, regular oil changes do the engine wonders!
