frst + 2i exhaust?

it's probably not ideal but could i use my 2i exhaust when i put my frst engine in? i've reciently bought a scorpian full stainless and don't want to waist it. if a get a piece of pipe made up to connect the down pipe to the system - would this be ok or would the pressure damage / constrict the engine?

any help appreciated :)
