frst block mounting points

Postby paradox on Sun Jul 16, 2006 7:24 pm

on the front and rear of the frst block theres mounting lugs.
As far as i can remember on the rear the only lugs that are used are the ones that the rear engine mount bolts too and on the front i think only the lugs where the alternator mounting bracket bolts too are used.

Can anyone tell me if any of the other lugs are used for anything?

the reason im asking is i want to grind the unused lugs of the block for asthetic reasons but i dont want to grind lugs away to find out once i have the block in the car there was one needed for somthing that ive overlooked.

any help with this would be great.

Oh where does the stainless boost pipe bolt too?
