CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Postby Andyfrst on Tue Feb 05, 2002 5:49 am

I had a chargecooler fitted about 3 months ago and made a great improvement......ive been looking thru the site and saw that some guy has a charge cooler fitted but also still has his standard intercooler in too......

how do you do this [ERRR] my old intercooler is lying in the garage doing nothing and im sure it would make a good diference if it was back on.

anyone know anything about this?????????/

it would probably use custom piping, have the std one where it normally is then have the charge cooler after it round back somewhere, doesn't need air flow does it!

I think you will find a charge cooler still needs some air flow to help cool the water

Thanks snake for taking him out before I got here! Hes there shouting at me about management systems in one room annd how he programs this and that, (not management tho) but yet thinks a charge cooler needs a flow of air! Oh well.

No its a common mistake people make, don't know why.

Oh and try and fit "pre-rad" into that sentence and have it make sense, it doesn't really fit now does it.
