what do i need to convert my si to turbo sized rear drums? am considering turbo groove drums and greenstuff pads?
would really like rear discs but i dont think i would be up to the challenge (is it worth it?)

if its a 1.6si its already RS size otherwise u need:-
FRST shoes
FRST backplates
FRST cylinders
FRST drums
FRST hanfbrake cable (rear part)
FRST shoes

I take it you have done this to yours then frazer? I have the same car as yours (azura) and am considering doing the same thing. Did you fit the FRST rear beam as well, to get the anti roll bar? If so, what did you do about the shock absorbers?

Mexicotom....it's shoes for rear drums not pads anyway...dont bother with the "turbo groove drums"........waste of money.
Go with original drums with Ford shoes.......save yourself the cash If you are wanting better brakes get a rear disk conversion and cossie fronts.

does havin better brakes put ure insurance down?ive only got a 1.3 but will be puttin 16"s on as soon as i can afford em an its gonna look pants with those ickle discs!so would it be worth puttin say turbo,cossie or a big brake conversion?i know u lot will say no point but it looks good an if my insurance goes down it'll be worth it.any ideas chaps an chapesses?

1.stick with my drums.
2.upgrade to frst drums.
3.rear disc conversion.
handbrake needs to be very good as me drive is quite steep

got the rear beam with brakes for £50, not gonna use the beam though, got plans for it.
the brakes so seem a bit better with FRST spec drums, they are huge compared and look loads better.
i got new everythg from fords, discs dont do a lot on fiesta 90% is front braking so wihout adjusting the bias the rear discs are for show only.
i got FRST spax shocks so fiting the beam wouldnt effect me, i thk the rear shock design is the same anyway

mines a mk3.5 too,
the stub axles are the same from 89 to 95
u need the rest of what i said up top.
oh u might as well fit new bearings while ur there. only £20

no probs mate, its a bastid of a job takes a while, and u gotta bleed it. adjutsing the handbrake is a nightmare cos of the heat shields in the way, still gotta finish mine
