FRST handling fine tunning

Postby BUTRE on Thu Jan 06, 2005 7:04 pm

I'm going to drive my FRST on some trackdays and would like to get it handling better since I'm used to clio's.

I dare to say that the castor is wrong when it comes to handling, so does anyone knows any upgrade so that castor (at front of course) can be changed?

Camber can be changed without any sweat since lowering the FRST -40mm will give you at front almost -1.5 degrees and at back almost -0.4 degrees. I say its spot on :D

At the back, you might have to align the camber from one side since they usually are not equal :(

I used two washers between the drum and the axle arm to get the same camber of each side.

The red circles are not real

Any Track Nutters out there? :Q

Where to get this arms from? Fiesta Frenzy's lower arms only let you tune the camber.

No not that. I have seen a S2 with fully adjustable tca's, anti-roll bars ... etc ....... should handle the road/track with no problems :)
