frst power steering

i have a j plate frst and want power steering do [ERRR] frsts come with it standard can i fit it from an si is there room? i've done a serch and got nothing :lol:

No RST had power steering, engine leech apart from anything, sheesh next you will be wanting air con too :lol:

No idea if it can be fitted, I've not heard of anyone doing it, but then I cant imagine it would be easy, you would probably need to change the whole steering rack?

yeah the racks easy, you just have to fit the pump, and run the piping.

the only cvh with a pump really available would be the 1.4 pte engine from a 1.4 Si however one major problem is that the turbo is in the way

so unless you can get a pump and a place to fit it your not gonna be able to do it.

been there looked into that :P

I looked in2 this aswell (not for my Si :bonkers: ) y not get 1 of those quick racks or summit, i dunno wot thier called but a red rez turbo van in 1 of my fast ford mags had 1, summit like 1.5 turns lock to lock. hth :)
