the 2i rad is a upgrade from a FRST one anyway. theres more surface area on the 2i one hence better cooling

Only the XR2i rad doesn't have the water return from the turbo and won't physically fit with the intercooler. Kempston radiators do them as I got one from them about 2 years ago for my brothers car and can still obtain them from my local Bennetts. Expect to pay about £170 or spend an extra little bit and get a nice alloy one from about £260

nothing like this then
but yeah, your 100 percent correct about trying to get the intercooler in there. it aint happening. if you dont mind messing around then it could be benificial. and it only cost 56 quid for a brand spanking new radiator unlike the over the top prices of FRST ones (for what they are) pros and cons either way i guess
