2i Rad

Postby CRF on Thu Mar 10, 2005 1:18 pm

I had my rad recored with a 2i sized core. I have a GRS cooler.

Its a bit bodged in at the moment until I get some better pipework made up but it works ok for now.........

Ignore the brown tape, it was replaced with a proper pipe joiner before filling up with coolant.

As the core is wider the top rad hose connection moved an inch or 2 to the right so the old top rad hose wouldnt reach so I had to cut the old one up keeping the take off for the turbo water pipe and use a straight rubber hose from the rad, connected with a pipe joiner.

Not keen on the set up of the top boost hose at the moment but it's only temporary. Its currently made up of the old top boost hose, dump valve T piece and a straight rubber hose.
